The term MPS can be confusing. MPS refers to an outdated testing method
in the Aloe industry. called Methanol Precipitable Solids. This method
was used at one time to determine the purity and quality of
polysaccharide content. However, it does not accurately measure
polysaccharides, may even give false readings, and is no longer used as
an industry standard. MPS is also an outdated term to describe
